About the Event: La Feria

In celebrating our 5 year anniversary we are curating a show that will engage audiences across the Chicagoland and beyond with performances by nationally reputable artists and an event experience that highlights the latino experience in the midwest.

Two of Chicago’s most recognized cultural promotors are celebrating their 5 year anniversary. This natural partnership comes with years of curating events that speak to Chicago’s Latino demographic and is the first of many of their partnered events.
Pachanga Chicago has used its events platforms and creative marketing strategies to highlight independent artists, deejays and musicians from across the city and country to perform in venues reaching thousands of first, second and third generation latinos with music spanning a range of genres and styles.
Collaborative Institute of Cultural Arts (CICA) is a non-profit organization in the City of Chicago who host annual showcases featuring mesmerizing dance performances by youth and adults. Their organization provides Chicago youth an avenue to express their creativity and performances that share authentic traditional dances from Mexico with an outreach of hundreds of families.

When polling our audience (3.6k Followers) via our Social Media Channels on their favorite style of music to dance to, over 70% of survey participants enjoy Cumbia over others. Mexican regional music like banda and norteño follow. In our events we are proud to embrace diverse musical styles and share a variety of live music through our deejay performances and live musical acts. With our audience in mind - we are curating an event that will give our audience a sample of this music with recognized musical acts and maintain our classic experience that transports them to Latin American street festivals “Ferias”.
